BloxNote Wiki — Roles, Tasks & Death Note Guides

BloxNote drops the Death Note premise into a 13-player Roblox lobby: a hidden Kira writes names, while Investigators grind out tasks and feed clues to L. Every round is a bluffing contest where one careless move exposes you, and our wiki maps the roles, task routes and winning tactics so you can read the room before it reads you.

What is BloxNote?

BloxNote is a Roblox social deduction title from the group fearless horror games, released in early September 2026. It borrows the Death Note setup: a killer armed with a supernatural notebook hides among ordinary players, and everyone else has to work out who it is before the names run out. Servers hold up to thirteen people, and the game runs on PC, console and mobile.

Four Asymmetric Roles

Kira and the Follower hunt a team of Investigators led by L, and L can be replaced by a successor mid-round. Every role has its own win condition.

The Death Note Itself

Writing a name resolves almost instantly, but Kira must first steal the target's ID at close range. The notebook can be passed between the Kira pair.

Shared Task Meter

Investigator tasks fill one team-wide bar. Filling it wins the round for the task side, which turns every task into a race and a bluff at once.

Bluffing & Deduction

Meetings, alibis and vote mathematics decide most rounds. One convincing lie or one piece of real proof can swing an entire lobby.

Each round deals out one of four roles. Investigators push through a shared list of mini-game tasks to fill a meter while L gathers information and coordinates the group. On the other side, Kira and the Kira Follower eliminate players by writing their names, steal IDs by getting close, and can buy Shinigami Eyes to reveal identities at a cost to their own progress bar. Eliminating L is the Kira team's priority target.

BloxNote FAQ

What are the roles in BloxNote?+

BloxNote deals out four roles: Kira, the Kira Follower, L and the Investigator. Kira and the Follower form the killing team and win by eliminating the other side, while L and the Investigators work together to finish the shared task meter or vote the killer out. The role you receive is randomised at the start of each round, so the fastest way to improve is to learn all four rather than specialising in one.

How does the task meter work in BloxNote?+

Every Investigator task you finish pushes one shared meter higher for the whole task team, not just for you. When that meter fills, the Investigator side wins the round outright, which is why the meter is the main pressure on Kira. The practical consequence is that completing tasks is both a win condition and your best alibi: a player who is visibly working the meter is harder to accuse in a meeting.

How does the Death Note kill players?+

Kira must first steal a target's ID by standing close to them, then open the notebook and write the name they have read. According to community testing the kill resolves almost immediately after the name is committed, so distance is your only real defence. The notebook can be handed to the Kira Follower, which means either member of the killing team may be the one holding it at any moment.

What should I say in a BloxNote meeting?+

Report only what you actually saw: who was near the last victim, who left a task early, who has been following players instead of working the meter. Accusations without evidence tend to split the vote and hand Kira an easy round, so when the lobby has no real proof a skip vote is often the correct play. L can share a private read to steer the room, so listen for that before you commit.

Do BloxNote cosmetics affect gameplay?+

No. Titles, emotes and player cards are purely cosmetic rewards and none of them change stats, vision or task speed. They are handed out through the spin system or bought directly from the shop, and the rarer items are simply more visually distinctive rather than stronger. That keeps every round decided by deduction and task work instead of by who spent the most Robux.

Is BloxNote worth playing?+

BloxNote sits near 89 percent positive on its Roblox listing, and most reviewers describe it as a Roblox-flavoured take on Death Note: Killer Within built on an Among Us round structure. The recurring criticism is a thin command card pool and inconsistent notebook-pass animations, so it is at its best with friends or a vocal lobby. Random silent servers flatten the deduction, which is the one thing the game depends on.

Ready to Master BloxNote?

Learn the roles, finish your tasks, and never get voted out for the wrong reason again. Start with the fundamentals and climb from confused newcomer to the player everyone trusts.
